CRAFT (June 22, 1854 - October 19, 1941; LA Death
Index - Volume: 31, Certificate: 13483. Bogalusa, Washington Parish, LA; buried:
Pounds Cemetery, Washington Parish, LA) Abt. 1871. They had eleven (11) children, including Sol
Myer HATHORNE.
Mary H. CRAFT was the
daughter of Joshua Bryant CRAFT and Charity Pamela DUCKWORTH
Later, Daniel Brewster HATHORNE
married
Mae Sumrall.

wrote in a recent e-mail in which he sent the above two photos :
Here are the pictures of Dan Hathorne's grave in Lucedale, George
County, MS, along the Mississippi-Alabama border. It's on the road between Mobile and Laurel. I'll get the name of the
cemetery and directions from my brother. The first photo shows g-g-granddaddy's marker
in relation to the surrounding markers, and the second is a close-up of the maker itself. It appears that he is not buried with either of his wives,
which may tell something of the way he lived. According to records, he had children with both
his first wife, Mary Craft and his second wife, Mae Sumrall, overlapping by some four years. According to Gary Hathorn's research and the books on Sullivan's Hollow, Dan Hathorne led a very
colorful life. Sadly, it seems he now rests alone for eternity. -- snip -- Good luck in your research, and let me know if you find any more
