September 8, 1999 notes by Patricia D. McClendon:

Born - February 22, 1932, Bogalusa, Louisiana, Washington Parish;
Died - November 06, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois
-
1st marriage: John Eugene McCLENDON, Sr.
(private, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, Washington Parish - still alive)
-
Children:

Patricia Darlene McClendon
-
-
2nd marriage: José Miranda ROCCA or José Rocca MIRANDA (June 19, 1929 - January 03, 1968), in New Orleans, Louisiana, Orleans Parish)
-
They had no children that I am aware of.
His Social Security card was issued in California. He served in U.S.
Armed Forces at some point, right after WWII and perhaps in the Korean
War. His 1st name may have been Joseph or Joe. José
and my mother met in Chicago according to my aunt. I don't believe
that they had any children.
-
-
His death certificate lists his last name as ROCCA; his first name
as José; and his middle name as MIRANDA. He moved from Chicago, Illinois to New Orleans to be near his wife's
grave in about 1965. He frequently visited her grave site in Bogalusa, until his
death. He was found dead. The coroner lists his death as "UNDER
INVESTIGATION" which was later crossed out and replaced with a
note: "1-15-68 Classified by Coroner". The cause of death
was considered "Advanced postmortem decomposition". I
don't have an obituary for him, if indeed, one was published.
I'm putting all the
possible combination of names for him here for the search engines to
find: José ROCCA or
José Miranda ROCCA (Joe ROCCA, Joe Miranda ROCCA, Joseph ROCCA or
Joseph Miranda ROCCA); José MIRANDA or José Rocca MIRANDA (Joe
MIRANDA, Joe Rocca MIRANDA, Joseph MIRANDA or Joseph Rocca MIRANDA).
