Old Williamsburg Cemetery, Covington County, MS - a restoration project of Covington County Historical and Genealogical Society

The names listed represent the families buried in the Old Williamsburg Cemetery, Covington County, Mississippi. In some cases it may be just one individual with that surname. Surnames: Brady, Burkhalter, Carter, Coulter, Davis, Deese, Dunnigan, Easterling, Eaton, Lott, McCullum or Mc Cullum, McRaney or Mc Raney, Morgan, Parker, Reid, Ross, Sellers, Strahan, Stewart, Thompson, VanZandt or Van Zandt, and Webster.

The Covington County Historical and Genealogical Society is trying to locate information about those buried in the cemetery and to also locate anyone who knows of burials in the cemetery that are now unmarked. We have located about 45 graves without markers so far. The Society is beginning the process of restoring the cemetery.
